To all our wonderful muscians from Cheshire you were all a credit to be with and I am so proud of you all. Your performance and behaviour throughout was excellent. I would also like to thank the Isle Of Man Youth Orchestra, music services, friends and all who we came into contact with over the weekend, it was such a pleasure. Finally very big thank you's go to Mathew and Sue Newton, Connie and Steve Telford and Nicola Avery you are all amazing and make up a wonderful team....THANK YOU. Pat Adams Chairperson of The Friends of the Cheshire Youth Orchestras. We would all like to say a massive thankyou to the Isle of Man Music Service, the Friends of the Manx Youth Orchestra, and all the parents who provided home-stays, for making the tour such a success. We would also like to thank an Isle of Man resident who generously and kindly paid for all our orchestra members to experience the Electric Railway trip from Douglas to the top of Snaefell (where it was sunny, but very, very windy!). This gesture was greatly appreciated and was enjoyed by everyone who took part. |
